Here's how the industry works:
Every dealer offers the same subscription pricing. They have to because that's actually billed
directly by Dish Network. If not then you're looking at a scam like I talk about on our buyer
beware page. All dealers offer the same equipment with the plans. They will
tell you about a free DVR upgrade and in the fine print you will see that it comes with a
$5.98/month Dish Network DVR access charge. They all currently offer 3 months free for HBO and Cinemax.

Then you have rebate offers, this is where the dealers differ from each other and where you get a better deal than
directly through Dish Network. They offer their own supported rebate on top of all the other hyped up standard
offers. These rebates are free gifts you earn once you have been a dish subscriber for a set number of days
and mail them a copy of your Dish Network receipt.
It all boils down to going with a company that offers friendly service and installation,
initial setup support, and a good rebate offer. The rest is taken care of by Dish Network,
as they will be the ones you call for performance support, when you want to
change your subscription plan, when you move, or if you ever need to get a replacement dish.

I have scowered the search engines, newsgroups, blogs and forums and
to my knowlege these are the only 2 dish dealers offering rebates at
this time. Everyone else offers just the usual same offers you see
mentioned in the "Standard dish offerings hyped by all dealers" listed
above.
